Loving like Jesus is a radical way to love.
Christ loves those who've hurt Him, and He doesn't keep a record of being wronged.
Christ's love endures forever, it's faithful, and is not withholding.
Christ's love cannot be earned and we didn't do anything to deserve it.
Christ's love is unfailing, unshakable, and unmistakable.
Christ's love is not like the love of this world.
And since we are called to be in this world, but not of it (John 17:14-15) as His followers, we must hold ourselves, and the way we love, to a different standard than the world's way. The greatest commandments are to first: love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and second: love our neighbors as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39).
We challenge you to open your heart to God, and learn how to show love to others in a way that brings glory to Him. We'll do so by walking through 1 Corinthians 13 via email over these 5 days.

I went from going to church as a weekly “good-thing-to-do” activity to a life surrendered and transformed by Christ in joyful obedience.

I founded the community Be In Not Of (BINO for short) in 2018, in order to help young adult believers grow deeper in their walk with God and truly live a Christlike life (#setapart).
The “Love Better Challenge” was birthed out of conviction during a Bible study. I realized that I wasn't loving others the way 1 Corinthians 13 described. I needed to repent, examine the text, and put love God's way into action. I’m excited for you to experience the same growth I did during these 5 days.
